This technique involves the insertion of a Thermowell pocket or probe without shutting down and draining down heating, cooling, processing or other pipework systems.

The technique can achieve significant savings by enabling the insertion of pockets for temperature, flow control or other building management controls to be fitted whilst the system is fully operational.
